Microbiology is the study of microorganisms (also known as microbes), which are unicellular or cell-cluster organisms and infectious agents too small to be seen with the naked eye. ... Microorganisms are extremely important in our everyday lives. Importance of microbiology is vast and is spread into different areas of human life like in health care, agriculture, food production etc.
The Department of Microbiology at mLAC was set up in 1999. Our trained, dedicated, research oriented faculty provide excellent insights into the state-of-the-art knowledge areas. Students are encouraged towards excellence through paper presentations and publications, in-house projects and industrial visits.
