History

History is an organized study of the past. History helps us how mankind has evolved and the dynamics of human behavior, about key individuals who have shaped human destiny and of change in the landscapes of countries, thought and ideologies. A keen student of history acquires a great perception of the day’s situations across different spheres and is better placed to predict and advise on the likely trends for the future. Successful students can look forward to careers in government, research, teaching and can go for higher studies as well.

The Department of History gives the students elaborate insights into history. Our trained and experienced faculty provides well rounded perspectives on different aspects history using a range of teaching methods.
